WHEN Kellan Lutz signed on to be one of the four models for the most recent Calvin Klein underwear ad campaign -- along with Fernando Verdasco, Hidetoshi Nakata and Mehcad Brooks -- he followed a long line of strikingly good-looking young men who have tried to use that exposure (in every sense of the word) as a gateway to potential stardom. As a look at the subsequent career arcs of those who have come before him suggests, some have done quite well, while others have had to be content with careers that seem to involve a striking number of straight-to-DVD films.
